Camp Riley is part of the Riley Children’s Foundation and is an annual summer camp at Bradford Woods in Martinsville, Indiana. It allows children with disabilities to experience life and camp without limits, while building confidence and friendships. Thanks to donations and support from organizations like Indiana ESA, Camp Riley has never had to turn away a camper due to financial need. Campers will experience outdoor adventures including horseback riding, swimming, archery, climbing towers, and more. Indiana ESA has supported Camp Riley for over 50 years!
Added as a state project in 2017, Anna’s Celebration of Life provides life-enhancing gifts for children in Indiana with special needs. Anna’s Celebration of Life is named after Anna Molloy, who was born on September 28, 1995 and was diagnosed with Geleophysics Dysplasia. Inspired by Anna’s spirit and with the blessing of the Molloy family, Anna’s Celebration of Life, Inc. was formed by Anna’s father’s friends and business associates. Anna felt free and self-sufficient with her first wheelchair, and the foundation was formed to give other children in Indiana with special needs that same experience. Anna passed away from Geleophysics Dysplasia in 2008, but her spirit lives on in the 75-100 wishes that Anna’s Celebration of Life grants every year to children in Indiana and the foundation’s celebration of the “specialness” of children.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is located in Memphis, Tennessee and is one of the world’s premier centers for research and treatment of catastrophic disease in children, primarily pediatric cancers. It was founded by entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962, and is supported primarily by funds from volunteer contributions raised by ALSAC, as well as from federal research grants, insurance, and investments.

Indiana ESA members support St Jude through chapter projects, volunteering at radiothons and the annual St. Jude Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer in Indianapolis, and participating in the St Jude Memphis Marathon.
Easter Seals is the leading non-profit provider for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, physical and mental disabilities, and other special needs. For more than 90 years, Easter Seals has offered help and hope to children and adults living with disabilities, as well as to the families that love them. Easter Seals uses therapy, training, education, and other support services so that people with disabilities can live, learn, work, and play in their communities and in their lives.

ESA began supporting military personnel and their families during World War II. In fact, much of ESA’s early international growth was a result of military members forming new chapters as they moved to new bases.
Hope for Heroes is specifically directed at providing membership support for military personnel and their families, and has recently evolved to include an annual ESA Hope for Heroes national event held each year on or around Veteran’s Day in November. The celebration includes honoring veterans, sending greetings and care packages to military personnel serving abroad, and organizing additional activities to support active military personnel and veterans at the local level.
Indiana ESA members support Hope for Heroes by collecting coupons for their Coupon Exchange Program, sending care packages to service members serving abroad, and collecting goods for local veteran support programs in Indiana.
ESA members often put others before themselves and spend a lot of their time giving back to others. The Disaster Fund was established to support ESA members whose homes and/or personal belongings were destroyed or damaged by a natural disaster, such as a fire, flood, or tornado. Assistance can also be given when a member incurs heavy financial responsibility due to a debilitating illness or accident which involves the ESA member or someone in their immediate family who resides in the member’s home.
